Hodu (Malayalam)

Hodu Malayalam Ogomovies, Revolves and enhances within a police station located in the fictional village Hodu (the Hebrew name of India). In this story, Hodu represents the actual replica of India, where often justice is not delivered. The movie talks about such obsolete laws and their flaws. The story begins when the Hodu police get a trace of the culprits who committed a gang rape. The victim was a minor and she was killed in that incident. This harrowing incident grabbed a lot of media attention and the culprits absconded for fear. Soon the police arrest the criminals through an undercover operation and try for a confession note from them. Out of the four criminals police were able to grab the confession note from one and they proceeded to file a case against them. On the same day, when this undercover operation was done another fellow citizen of India was also arrested for a petty case. Due to political and external pressures, the police were forced to release one of the criminals who was involved in the gang rape. ‘This creates a dilemma because the police were about to proceed with the examination process and other formalities. They complete the examination process and solve this dilemma in a weird manner where the law is served but justice is denied. The movie reveals the obscure nature of law servers and the loopholes in the regulations. This repeatedly creates a pseudo-image of society, hiding the truth!
